X Fang, award winning children’s illustrator and author. Her books are “Dim Sum Palace” and “We Are definitely Human” and most recently, “Broken” which has won the NYTimes 2025 Best Illustrated Children's Book Award. She was born in Taiwan, grew up In Georgia and now lives in Maine.

Adam Erby, Executive Director of Historic Preservation and Collections at George Washington Mt. Vernon. Adam oversees the preservation and research of Mt. Vernon’s historic core and world renowned museum collections, while fulfilling the longstanding preservation mission of Mount Vernon. He will speak about how Mount Vernon and how it was saved by the ladies….about George Washington…as the political leader , the military, the farmer..as a family man, including the values he espoused that helped formed the basic ideals and rights of this country.
